Recently, scammers have been hitting stores and sending fake gift cards to the customers there, misappropriating the branding of the location they're in.
These cards are usually given out by throwaway alts in busy areas, and they contain a malicious script, which will immediately ask for debit permissions.
In all reported cases so far, the gift card itself was invisible. However, these cards may look like genuine CasperVend Gift Cards, and may even show Casper Warden as the creator. This does NOT mean that it is genuine.
If you grant debit permissions, the malicious cards will immediately attempt to empty your account:

You can easily protect yourself. Never, ever grant debit perms to an object from an untrusted source. Gift cards will be issued by the official store owner only - check the "last owner" of the object before granting perms.
Genuine CasperVend gift cards only ask for debit permissions if you try to purchase a product which costs more than the balance on the card.
