Summary

I am Thunderchild Allen in SL. I'm an independent mixed media artist in RL & SL. I am well mixed. My pseudonym in both Worlds is AJ Leibengeist. I am the Administrator & #1 Resident at the Thunderchild Gallery Workshop. It is a project spread over four regions to provide a community site for artist and new residents.

I am based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.A. I relocated here at the turn of the millennium to transition from my professional career in to a life of art, music and motorcycles. I am a U.S. Veteran and a member of the New Mexico Veterans Art group.

Yes, my RL mixes over into SL. My RL artwork for products both RL & SL. I am a real person, post career and over achiever. I have a Curriculum Vitae should we decide to do mix worlds business together. Otherwise, I'm an Satyr hybrid who is an artist and art's philanthropist.

In the late 1960's, I started my engagement in the art and science programs at the Kirk Patrick Planetarium at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. It was there, I created and sold My first art work. Over the decades, I received both private and classroom training in art, illustration and drafting. I've been able to apply those skills throughout my professional career life. I've created university course materials, architectural and construction plans, network diagrams, clothing and custom gear designs.

I believe that visual art can be a strong communication and emotional experience just as is music, poem and prose. Our world and lives are too complex to remain a simpleton, you'd only get kicked to the curb of life. At times I can be a minimalist, seeking to use simple forms to express a broader meaning. Then I can be manically attentive to detail striving for a more grand image. More recently, I've been focusing on a story based, issue addressing, emotional and historical significant. This lead to the fifteen piece set titled, A Crash of Rhinos.

The no thrills artwork items are basic basic prims as canvas with the artwork on the front and a backing with basic information. These are Modify and Transfer permissions. Framed items are generally Transfer only, until I start making my own mesh frames.
