As a Canadian, it is my honor to salute the troops from my country. My real life sister is active Canadian Military and my brother is retired military. I am intensely proud of them and their contributions. My sister just returned from Afghanistan and our entire family breathed a sigh of relief at her safe return.

I was going to make a tray of her favorite drink, but when I asked her..she said her favorite drink was Coconut rum and pineapple juice..which is yummy I agree..but not very Canadian. So instead, I decided to do a couple cups of coffee and a bowl of poutine. Poutine is a uniquely Canadian dish...french fries with cheese curds and gravy..absolutely awful to look at..and so bad for your arteries but oh..what it does for the palate!

When Ruth was in Kandahar, I asked her what she wanted me to send her...expecting a list of things useful in a desert..like wet wipes and perhaps water pills or something...she says...Tim Horton’s gift certificates! It seems the Canadian Military base in Kandahar had a Tim Horton’s and was busily introducing all of our allies to the wonders of a double-double!

There are two matching trays - the male is blue and has a male walk animation in it.....the pink is female and has a female walk animation in it. The drinks and emotes are identical.
